GOT DILEMMAS?
Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. (Job 14:1)
There are two facts of life, brevity and burdens! James the Apostle summed it up with the words “count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations” (or various trials) and then “a man’s life is like a vapor upon the earth”. I remember two of my granddaughters fighting over mounds of dirt when we were camping one summer, then I watched fellow co-workers fighting over mounds of dirt recently. We may grow up on the outside; but are pronged to be childish inwardly. Many go through their entire lives bickering and battering each other over the smallest issues in life. Many never prepare themselves for the major trials which are inevitably coming our ways. They have social view on life instead of a spiritual view! When one is obsessed with fairness and justice and bent on having it; they lose the focus of our existence.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalms 139:14)
We are wondrously made in the image and likeness of God enabled through the Spirit to possess his attributes, character, and fortitude. God is never surprised by the circumstances which befall us; he knows the numbers of our days.
(15) My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.
(16) Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
(17) How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! Psalms 139:15-17
Brethren let that sink in! God is aware of you; he knows your outgoing and coming in altogether. He made you for adversity; in other words you were hard wired to contend with the battles of life and empowered to overcome through his Holy Spirit. To pretend something isn’t happening is fantasy; to believe it can change through perseverance is faith, but that faith is vested in God Almighty. God has a book of our lives and ordained our days even before there were days. How awesome is that? God knew us before we were even in our mother’s womb and he knows the outcome of our lives. He comforts us in the fact that we understand that ALL things work together for our designated good because we responded to his love, he will finish what he has started in us by working through us. God’s way are higher because he is infinite, boundless, and limitless and understands the futility of our humanity and designed a way for us to contend through being filled with the Holy Ghost and Fire!
Brethren, take the knowledge of God’s word and apply it to your life, you may not see instant results but the process of application will yield to you the fruit of the Spirit and the power of the Spirit. God enforces his word when we comply and apply it to our lives! We are designed to be more than conquers through Christ Jesus when we put him on and do not make provision for the flesh! Come alive! I say come alive in the Spirit and you shall overcome! Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
