Bounty of Godliness

Let us remember the bounty of godliness; the fruit of joy; and the benefit of love unfeign. Jesus is the author, the supply, and the finisher of all we should be, all we need, and all we lack in ourselves. Wait upon him with the fruit of patience; trust in his ways; for he is not a mere man but the Theo/Anthropos (God/Man) who came to live a sinless life and die vicariously for us; so that we may have spiritual life with more abundance of being.

“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement which was on him was for our peace; and with his stripes with are healed”.

A new atonement for a new covenant; one that does not shall cover but one that also cleanses. It is one thing to be child-like and quite another to be childish. God is calling up to a higher mentality; not of pride or arrogance; but of spiritual intelligence subscribed through the logos (word) of God. Our God is calling us to walk in maturity and put away childish behavior that centers on self and reach out to a lost and spiritually dying world.

Yeshua (Jesus) is our Savior; we must become saviors to those who are wretched, blind, and naked without God and without hope. We are inhabited by the answer to their pollutions, we are inhabited by the solutions to their dilemmas, and we are inhabited by the answer to the reason for their existence. Jesus is indwelled within the Christian who has wholeheartedly repented of their sins and received him as Lord and Savior. For in Christ is our salvation, our hope, and our eternity.

Jesus is Savior, Healer, and Deliverer! What are you facing? Give it to Jesus! What do you need? Ask Jesus! Why are you going through the things you go through? Kneel down, Humble down, and Call out to Jesus! When things are going well we often quote Romans 8:28 to others who are going through trying times.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 KJV)

However, many times we forget this same verse when the tables are turned and it is ourselves who are going through the fiery trial. We should remember how we got to that place if we are indeed one who is following Christ.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14 KJV)

Where God leads does not guarantee there will not be valleys of decision; or that there will not be fiery trials that come to try you. In fact most of the places God leads us too; he is going to lead us through for the benefit of our spiritual maturity; hence to lose more our fleshly mentality. Brethren, let us strive to thrive in a world which is bent on our demise. We can and should be more than conquers through Christ Jesus who called us into this marvelous light.

(10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
(11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
(12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
(13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10-13 KJV

Brethren; keep the faith today by remembering the rewards or the bounties of spirituality. God enriches our lives through indwelling, infusing, and empowering us. Godliness is demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit which are of God as a witness of his reality in our lives. Let us walk in the Spirit and mortify the deeds of the flesh. Let us honor God by submitting to him in a form of true worship by being navigated by his word, will, and ways. Only when we totally surrender to him will we be at peace with him and ourselves. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
D.R. Ritchie (Spirit Filled)
