1 YET SHALL PRAISE COME FORTH on Wed May 24, 2017 11:19 am

When the very air breaths contempt; when the atmosphere defies reason; when the attitude is repulsive; and when the ambient repels and rebels; be still and know that God is unmovable, immutable, and impassable. Jesus is the essence of revelation, he is the light, he is the substance of the types and shadows of the prophets, he is the word of promise and the light of the life men; it is he who shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot apprehend or overpower. When the enemy comes raging in like a deluge of floods he will cradle us in the cleft which is higher than all. David cried out to Lord in a melodious psalm that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of his enemy.

(2) And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
(3) The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
(4) I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
(5) When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
(6) The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
(7) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. 2 Samuel 22:2-7 KJV

Why then should I be destressed? Jesus is my Rock; he is the sound of my salvation, my Savoir who saves from the violent, my Deliverer who saves me from my enemies, when waves of death compass me and the floods of the ungodly come to provoke fear; of whom shall I be afraid, for the Lord my God is with me! Though all of the hordes of hell oppose me and set a snare for my feet; my joyful tears of salvation will sing in the Holy of Holies, a song of praise will rise from a heart so endeared to Him.

I will choose the light that shines so bright; it hides me from the darkness in the midst night. Through plight of this journey filled valleys low, through the many battles I have learned to grow. Yet shall praise come forth from these lips of clay; knowing this earthly existence shall some day pass away. I will praise him know that he hears, I will pray to him who takes away my fears, for the cry of the righteous are always heard on high, for his holy people have a voice in heaven he will not deny. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
