1 O THE GLORIOUS LIGHT By Ray Ritchie on Wed Apr 12, 2017 8:08 am



The first thing is Christ; in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. In the beginning the Spirit of the Lord moved across the face of the waters; O the darkness and vast void of the soul without God. Then God said let there be light and the light pierced the darkness.

That light was the life of man; the darkness was consumed and could not overthrow the light of God which came to save the souls of man. O the glorious light that brings eternal life to the souls of man. In that ray of life is integrated love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. O what a light of life to bring man from the darkness of his sinful soul, O what a glorious word that shows the way to grow.

O come let us adore Him and kneel before his throne; he will surely hear us because he is our King. He will expand our knowledge and his wisdom he will impute; and give us a new heart to stand against the darkness and all its evil we will refute. Jesus is the Savior who loves us deep and true; open up your heart to him; beseech from deep within; he will hear your heart cry upon him you can rely. O the joy of Jesus; nothing can compare; O the joy of Jesus; I am happy to declare. Selah
