1 Fear Thou Not! By Ray Ritchie on Thu Sep 22, 2016 11:19 am

The Lord is my helper of whom shall I fear, though I walk in the midst of my enemies whom shall I fear? Though disease encamp itself all around me; I shall not fear. Though the storm clouds gather and winds begin to blow; I shall not fear; I have not the spirit of fear; but of love, power, and a sound mind.

Brethren be encouraged today in the spirit; God has promised to never leave or forsake us, therefore let us hold to his unchanging hand. Let his loving embrace hold you on the course set before your feet. I remember the many times I’ve called upon his name and he answered. He bids his children come into the pavilion of truth and stand in the safety of his shelter. There is no trial that does not have a way out, even upon pain of death, pain will cease to be as being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3 KJV)

Who do you call upon when the darkness comes and the clouds gather and winds of trial blow fierce, when you hear the roll of thunder and see the flash of lightening? Where is your confidence when those troubles begin to multiply and it seems you’re sinking in the quicksand of deception? God commands “Call upon me”; and “I will answer thee”; then “show thee great and mighty things”. God is a God of revelation who unveils and reveals those ways of escape. If we are in his hands he provides for his children.

Brethren come to fountains and drink of the waters of life freely. Brethren come to the waters that refresh and renew, waters that sustain and establish. Come to the waters that bring life more abundant and the waters of the word that enlighten and enhance. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
D.R. Ritchie (Servant)
