OUR DELIGHT

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalms 1:2-3 KJV)

Oh that our meditation would be grounded and founded in the word of God. The secret to fruitfulness is the art of our meditation and the execution of those fundamental principles deducted from the word; namely doctrines. The secret to fidelity is navigating our lives around ungodly and unprincipled association avoiding godless persuasion and influence.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (Psalms 1:1 KJV)

Sin demeans and diminishes man; it reduces the volume and value of his fortitude and integrity. Without the gift of grace man is doomed to wither and perish.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. (Psalms 1:4-5 KJV)

The ungodly are like chaff easily carried away with the winds of emotion; they no root below and no fruit above, they without spiritual vitality. Consequently, they’re rootless and have no spiritual supply to bring forth fruits of righteousness.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalms 1:6 KJV)

Destiny is determined by moral character and conduct. The inception of evil is by a detachment from God, a loose man has loose character which leads to a loose lifestyle. He has no root in himself; nothing to stabilize himself or defend himself from the enemy within and the influence without. His life is garnered by emotion and happenstance though he makes plans he believe fate and has foundation which will save him. The way of the ungodly shall perish.

Blessed or happy is the man that walks by the imputed righteousness of Christ. His inception of holiness is by his attachment to God through grace and living by the perfect law of liberty in Christ Jesus. We are branches attached to the Vine which supplies an ample flow of spiritual vitality which causes us to bring forth fruit of righteousness. We are those who let the meditation of our hearts and the words of our mouths be acceptable to God. Why? Because our delight, our joy, and our peace is steadfast in a firm foundation the grace of Jesus Messiah our Lord and Savior. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
