UNDERSTANDING FAITH

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:23 KJV)

When life’s difficulties come we often curse our blessing before we even speak it. Many today are going through difficult times which seem like a mountain. They may have a disease, a deteriorating relationship, a mountain of debt, etc. etc.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33 KJV)

How do we curse our blessing? We fail to seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness first and foremost. God gives us a promise to supply all these things and answer our prayer in accordance with his will when we seek him first. Once we had an audience with God at the throne of grace where find his will then we can effectively speak to the mountain. However, we must not doubt or waiver but totally believe or trust God to watch over his word to perform it.

Faith is totally submitting to the will of God through understanding the word of God and being led by the Spirit of God. God never contradicts himself or his word. So we can stand assured knowing that when we speak to the mountain the mountain has been removed walking by faith and not by sight.

Brethren today we live in times which are very trying, therefore we must set our faces like flint and push toward the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. Let us go into the presence of the Lord with thanksgiving let us into his gates with praise. Let God arise and scatter our enemies and let him put the word in our mouths to speak to the difficulties of life. Then victory shall be ours because God has gone before us to conquer our enemies. Selah

Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
D.R. Ritchie (Servant)
